What's the difference between "Quick Ship" and "Change Colors"?

You can choose between two types of materials for your shade:

Our "Quick Ship" materials are stocked and ready to be made into your shade. This means that we can rush "Quick Ship" items upon request.

Our "Change Colors" materials are printed to order in the pattern, colors, and scale you choose. Please allow a bit more time for the printing of your material.

What is the shade made out of?

Most of our shades are made of cotton fabric selected for their translucency and depth of color. Our custom printed materials are printed at a rich 720 dots per inch, so the color is saturated and rich.

Linen: we offer several linens to choose from.  Please note that linen is a natural material and has a slightly more open weave, so when you pass light through the linen, it will show the weave.

Wood veneers: our wood veneers are made from real wood, sliced very thin, so it is translucent and beautiful.  If you are lucky enough to visit the club rooms and box seats at the Kansas City Royals, you'll get to experience our wood veneer lights in action.
