A diffuser shields the bulb from view, and gives the table lamp a more finished look.

What is a diffuser?

A diffuser is a translucent acrylic disk that has been custom configured to fit your lamp shade. There is a slight gap all the way around the diffuser to allow for proper ventilation.

Cleaning

Our acrylic diffusers can be removed for easy cleaning. They are attached to the shade using the finial, which can be removed very easily without the need for tools or other hardware, making the diffuser a breeze to clean anytime.

Please note: diffusers are only available if a table lamp has been purchased. We do not sell diffusers as a separate item.

Effect on Brightness

The diffuser will not affect the overall quantity of light emitted from the lamp. It will, however, cause the light to be softened.
