What type of fitter is used?

All of our shades are washer fit (1/2" diameter) with a spider assembly on top. They will easily fit a standard lamp base that has a lamp harp. We do not currently make uno or euro fitted lamp shades at this time.  The shade ring has a 1/2" drop from the top.

Do you sell lamp harps? What size harp do I need for my shade?

While we do not sell lamp harps, they are often available from your local hardware store. In general, we recommend using a harp that is 2 inches shorter than the height of your shade.

Can I install your shades on my existing pendant light from another manufacturer?

We are unable to guarantee that trying to fit our shade on another light fixture hardware set will work and be safe.  For your own protection, rather than trying to retrofit a shade on another light fixture, we recommend that you purchase an entirely new fixture from us.  For those with tighter budget constraints, you can view our pendant light fixtures by price to find something awesome that will be in budget.

Can I add a diffuser to a shade?

We only sell diffusers as part of a complete pendant fixture.  Lamp shades are not able to be sold with a diffuser.
