Hi. Wondering if you can help me come up with some color/pattern ideas for a hanging pendant for this room. I think we have decided a 20 inch pendant would fit this room best. The orange color in this room is slightly darker than in the pictures below. I've included some pics of other things in my home so you can see what my style is.

black set of shelves in that room however I have a dark brown leather couch and brown patterned chairs in the room right nex to this..

the piece of furniture in the back by the windows is not staying there...only moved out of another room so we could put in some flooring

what I like...not all mixed together though....just threw the pillows on the chair for a picture

Just a couple more comments about the room for the pendant light. I do not have a rug picked out for the room yet, but that can be done after I pick out a light fixture. I just can't seem to pick a rug I like because I feel like too many other things are up in the air. Also I have a neat wooden chair with an upholstered cushion that I'm going to paint and recover (cushion.) So I could potentially do that with a fabric that coordinates with the pendant. Any other suggestions you have for the room are welcome!

I love your palette! I think that a striped pendant over your dining room table and a coordinating, more traditional & botanical, fabric on your chair would be a lovely combination. Your use of orange is quite lovely with the browns and greens, so I would play off that combination.

I recommend our Brookhaven stripe - it is our top-selling stripe right now. A smashing coordinate for your chair would be Suzani. The Suzani is designed by Jennifer Mitchell (http://designholeonline.com/) - and it was the first pattern I thought of after I saw your sweet throw pillows.

As for color - there are two ways you could go that would give you the biggest impact. You could use Chocolate for the background, or use Sand Dollar for the background. Chocolate would be darker and high-drama. Sand Dollar would be more livable over time (in other words, you won't get tired of it). I selected Burnt Orange for your orange accent (it is our most popular orange). Another orange you may want to consider is our standard orange - it depends on the deepness of your orange walls. Spring grass will complement your green accents nicely.
