What if damage occurs during my shipment?

We take great care in packaging your shipments, but as with any item, damage may occur during shipment (this is rare due to the fact that we double-box most items!). Unlike some retailers who would say "take that up with the shipping company", we say "We will take care of you!"

Should damage occur in shipment, we will arrange for pickup of your damaged item and send out a remake as quickly as possible. We believe that you should get what you pay for, and our policy is to issue a remake in the case of damage and take care of you so you can get on with your project!

Note: this policy only applies for the first 30 days after you receive your order, and damage may occur in transit even if the box appears intact, so please open and inspect your purchase as soon as you receive it!

OK...typing this again after going through the whole what's my password thing...

My lamp, which I picked up Monday at the ups center, was packed in two boxes. The smaller one was squished and the part of the fixture that holds the bulb is broken. The shade looks fine. How do you want me to proceed? Thanks -- Diane Dungey
