Electrical: All about bulbs

Where is the bulb(s) positioned?

On all of our pendants the bulbs are positioned near the top of the shade, regardless of the shade length.

Which fixtures come with two bulbs?

The following are the pendants that take two light bulbs up to 100 Watts each: 20-inch Drum, 24-inch Drum, Large Rectangular, Medium Rectangular, and Large Oval.

The fixture I want only comes with one bulb, can you custom-make it for me with more?

Each fixture is designed with the proper number of bulbs allowed under our UL listing.  We cannot add more to an existing fixture's design.

Can I use a compact florescent?

All of our lighting fixtures accept standard medium base compact fluorescent bulbs.  We recommend getting the "dimmable" type so that you can use a dimmer.

What is the maximum wattage?

Each fixture is rated differently.  Check the description on the product page for specific wattage maximums.

Can I use a smaller wattage bulb than indicated?

Yes, you can always use a smaller wattage bulb.  For instance, a fixture that is rated for use with a 100W maximum bulb can take a 60W bulb instead.

Do you sell light bulbs?

No, we focus on the pretty parts. :)

Do you sell pin-type fluorescent sockets for commercial use?

Not at this time, but we are working on it!  In the meantime, all of our fixtures are UL-listed and can be used with medium base compact fluorescent bulbs.

What voltage is required?

All of our ballasts are 120v.
