In choosing the best height (length) for your pendant light shade, one of the most important factors to consider is the height of your room.  To proportionately fill the vertical space, we recommend:

10-inch shade height for 8-foot ceilings

12-inch shade height for 9-foot ceilings

14-inch shade height for 10-foot (or higher) ceilings
